Jeffrey Schumacher, Chief Executive Officer

Jeffrey was appointed CEO of HTG in September 2015 and CEO of Helios Tower Congo Brazzaville in October 2016, currently holding both positions. He joined HTA in 2011 and has held senior roles during the set-up, launch, and growth phases at subsidiaries in Tanzania, DRC, and Tchad. Prior to HTA, he was an investment professional at Soros Fund Management LLC and actively involved with the company since its formation in 2009. Jeffrey holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from Northwestern University in the United States.


Sean Alborough, Managing Director

Sean joined HTG as MD in May 2017 following successful tenures as the CEO of Netis Ghana, a role he held since 2015, with concurrent role as Netis Group CTO for the same period. Prior to Netis, he was responsible for company start-ups and various management roles for renewable energy and radio transmission businesses in Africa. Sean started his career through technical training and academic qualifications with the National Telecommunications Operator of South Africa and the Military, where he was responsible for the National Telecommunications networks for the SADEC region of Africa. He has over 30 years’ experience in the industry.


Mark Made, Head of Legal & Regulatory

Ghanaian lawyer Mark has over 15 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law. He has worked as Legal Counsel at Law Trust Company, Ghana Commercial Bank, the Ministry of Finance, and the Securities and Exchange Commission as the Acting Head of Legal. He gained his LLM in Commercial Law at Erasmus University in the Netherlands.


David Dzigba, Financial Controller

David is a Ghanaian-born qualified accountant with over 11 years of combined experience in auditing, financial reporting, internal control and business process review across different sectors. Prior to joining HTG he worked with Ernst & Young Ghana and LaGray Chemical Company, a local CGMP compliant pharmaceutical manufacturer where he oversaw the setting up of the finance department. He joined HTG as the Financial Accountant in 2010 when the company started operations and has been key to the setup of the finance department and internal controls. David holds a BSc degree in Accounting from the University of Ghana, Legon, and is a chartered member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) Ghana.


Eugenia Boafo, Human Resources and Internal Operations

Native Ghanaian Eugenia has over 8 years’ experience in Human Resource and Expatriate Management, gained mainly while working at Reime Ghana Limited. She obtained her BA in Management Studies at University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and holds an MSc in International Human Resource Management from ESC Rennes in France.


Theophilus Odai, Head of Sales and Marketing

Theophilus joined HTG in May 2015 as Director of Sales and Marketing for HTG. He brings 10 years of telecom experience having worked previously at MTN Ghana, Airtel Ghana and Surfline Ghana (leading LTE player in Ghana) in sales functions. He was the head of Sales and Marketing and Strategic Business at Surfline in 2014, and head of Sales and Marketing at Airtel in 2012-2013. Theophilus graduated from the University of Ghana with a major in marketing.
